    pwo-ppwo 2x day?

I am doing cardio in the am for 45-55 minutes and lifting in the p.m. Should I be intaking a good pwo and ppwo after my morning cardio too or is it most important and sufficient to do only after lifting?

What are you thinking of including after cardio?

    What about after training?

After Cardio: PWO: o.j., 30grm dextrose, 50 gram whey PPWO, chicken breast, brown rice or oats

After training: same as above. except in PPWO adding vegetables.

what are your goals man? i go with pro/fat after cardio basically until meal 3. I go with Meal 1: Whites, Meal 2: pro/flax shake, Meal 3: grilled chicken/veggies/sweet potato or baked potato. i do this if im maintaining, if im cutting i go carbless until my pre-workout meal.

if your cutting then id stay away from carbs for atleast 2 hours after cardio, go straight pro/fat. once you get carbs after cardio the fat burning process, called lipolysis comes to a halt.

Don't take dextrose after cardio. Makes no sense, especially when cutting.

As for pro/fat or pro/carb after cardio, it really doesn't matter. Fat loss is minimal anyway, and even pure protein will cause an insulin response halting lipolysis.

Won't stop the insulin response enough to continue lipolysis. Besides, lipolysis is over-rated anyway.

What one eats after cardio and what one eats after weights are NOTHING ALIKE AT ALL.

so for cutting: after am cardio consume PWO egg beaters and oats and oj?
    PPWO chicken, yam, veggies

pm workout: fat free milk, strawberries, 50g protein NO dextrose.

    Is this better? any recommendations?

diet unforunately being the most important aspect is where I fall very behind. cardio and working out is the easy part.

would soy milk or lactose free milk be okay?

I'll wait an hour after I do AM cardio before eating. Even then it's mainly egg whites, no egg whites and some grilled onions.

Afte weights you NEED dextrose to repelish your glycogen stores. That said, you should aim for a mix of dextose/malto even split. As for protein Hydolyzed protein and CFM WPI would be my ideal proteins PWO. I'd even eat carbs PPWO, eventhough you're working out in the PM. You do AM cardio so I don't think BF acccumilation would be an issue, as the majority of carbs are going to rebuilding your muscles. Little, if any, should spill over into BF, given you're not carb whoring during the day, and the rest of your diet is on.

then read the cutting sticky bro, not a flame but it really helps. dont just memorize what to eat and when but also understand why your eating it at certain times of the day. That way when your life gets in the way of your diet as it does for all of us, youll know exactly what to substitute for a good meal that wont throw your diet off kilter. for PWO shake just get about 40-50 grams of whey protein andmake sure its low in sugars, and fat. optimum nutrition is my choice because its cheap, loads of protein per scoop, mixes so easy in water and tastes great. and of course dextrose at 80-100 grams. you should be getting pro/dex with a ratio of 2:1....some people put oats in there, i do sometimes as well. you can get dextrose at www.kentnutrition.com

    You're cutting.

Get rid of the fruits/OJ. NO simple sugars.

This is what I do for cutting:
After cardio (in morning): 6 egg whites, 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cup oats
PWO: 50g whey, 50g maltodextrin, 1/2 cup oats

I don't use a PPWO, cause it's my next meal (2 hrs later) which is pro/fat.

It's pointless to suggest any meal, whether it be PWO or after cardio, if we can not view your whole diet.
