Solid meals Vs. Liquid Meals?
I'm currently trying to lower my body fat. And I know to help speed up your metabolism you need 5-6 small meals a day. I eat 5 meals a day and 3 out of the 5 meals I drink. Egg whites in the morning then 2 protein shakes during the day. Does this have a negative impact in slowing your metabolism?

Shakes are a great way to get in nutrients...but from the standpoint of keeping the body's overall metabolism elevated, solid meals is the way to go.
Your body would need energy to digest solid food (esp foods high in fiber like lentils). Plus, there's the satiety factor.
So, there are pros and cons for using shakes. I'd say for dieting, make the bulk of the day's calories from real food.

Shakes after training, the rest solid meals, or atleast if you have a protein shake add some solid food to the meal like carrots, cuccomber, steamed veggies etc...XXL
