    indigestion and diarrhea

on a daily basis, after a visit to the bathroom, the bathroom stinks to high hell. This happens every day... not just a few times. This is my major concern.
Soem days that i will get a stomach flu and end up visiting the bathroom maybe 4 or 5 times in 6 hours.

I do visit the bathroom regularly.. i have a set time of the day. My diet is outlined in this thread
    http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=241971

is there someting that is wrong with my digestive system?
is there something i should or should not be eating or doing? Throw in more diary? Fibre?

    please help

Most likely its because you are drinkin alot when you are eating. I have the same problem. I cannot drink or can only drink minimal when I eat. You may have to start waiting to drink ur shakes when you are not eating that can cause the shits bad.

i dont know if that is what's causing it, but i have heard that you shouldnt drink alot of water during meals because it dilutes your stomach acids and makes it harder to digest the food.

Yea don't know if it's related to the water intake but I usually get most of my water intake in between meals. Pretty sure the body absorbs more nutrients if less water intake during meals. Not positive on that.

Hmm... looks like this may be worth investigating which I will do after cardio...haha. Because I've herad that you should drink lots of water at meals because it helps break the food down better which aids in digestion.

Perhaps Buff will jump in here and set this straight..

I see no fibrous foods in your diet besides the oats and wheat bread. Incorporate some green veggies, a little fruit, and/or legumes. Milk can cause indigestion as well especially if you have a lactase deficiency like I do. I supplement lactase pills. You can also supplement the bacteria that breaks down lactose. Your 4:30 meal w/ just peanuts not really a great idea. Include some complete proteins in that meal from meat.

"It is not preferable to drink water before right eating, because water dilutes the digestion enzymes, when stomach is in a dire need for this digestive acid after a meal. Water also reduces the appetite. However, you can drink water half an hour before having food. In addition, drinking water while eating will alleviate the concentration of the digestion enzymes, causing indigestion and enlarging the size of stomach."

Hmm.. Interesting, thanks for the info. As I said, I really have no clue on this topic, just what I've been told.. and that was to drink as much water in a day as you can, regardless of eating schedule.. so I always have. I drink like 2 gallons a day and have never had in indigestion or diarrhea problem. I guess everyone is different though.. but thanks, I'll keep this in mind..
