    Sweet potato math....

    Does this seem right to everyone...i am a little confused for some reason...ok 100 grams of sweet potatoes has 25g of carbs....so when i am depleteing or loading and my total carb intake for the meal is like 180g of carbs i need 700g of sweet potatoes????? that is like 2 big sweet potatoes.....that just seems like a lot even though on those days it is spread out between 3 meals....on my loadin day i need 150g per meal, so again according to my math i need 600g of sweet potatoe that meal....i have checked on a few sites and got the same numbers, but something seems off....PLease help...

    Yeah that seems about right. 2 big sweet potatoes is 180g carbs? Damn I thought it would be more like 100-120

    Yeah. When I was loading with Sweet Potatoes I was eating a ridiculous ammount. I got sick of them after a few days. At first they were so good, then bah, too much!

    But yeah, sounds right, about 2 big ones.

    Webb, sounds right to me. Just change the Servings to oz. then input 100, gives you exactly what you listed.

    It's really not that much if you think about it. 100g is about 3 and a half ounces (3.53 to be exact), really not that much. Now 700g is a dam pound a a half (24.60oz.), that's a dam lot of Taters.

    sweet potatoes are the only thing gettin me through the diet right now...the are sooooo good....i used the calorie king site as well Jay, thanks i figured i was right but just needed to double check...thanks everyone

    It's weird i used to hate them.. now i can't get enough of them..

    Thanks Mizfit...i have always loved sweet potatoes, so now that it is my only source of carbs it is great....and with turkey, it is like thanksgiving everyday

    Yeah..I know what you mean. I cut out sweet potatoes awhile cuz of the sugar in them but once I saw you eatin em for your contest prep I went out and bought a ton cuz they are soooo good
