Does this diet look right?
Hey guys, just wanted to post my plan of attack and see what everyone thinks. I am 22 5'10 265. I have started a diet and exercsie plan. My goal is to get down to 190-195...hopefully lose 40 by sept.
I can only go to the gym in the morning before work..I'll be going mon-fri, my plan is to do cardio for 40mins and lift for 40mins. I'll be doing one muscle group per day. My diet will mostly be the same daily...it looks like this:
5:30am-(5 times a week) Cardio (40min) and weights (40min)
7:00am-PWO 2 scoops whey protein/dextrose Cal:125 pro:48 carb:75
8:30am- 4 egg whites and half cup of oatmeal. Cal:220 pro:26 carb: 23
11:00am-8oz Chicken breast w/ veggies Cal:300 pro:42 carb:2 fat:2
2:00pm- Protein shake w/ flax Cal:240 pro:48 carb:2 fat:16
5:00pm- 8oz chicken breast or 6 oz steak, veggies, 1/2 cup rice Cal.420 pro: 42-48 grams carb: 30 fat:3-15 depending on whether or not i eat steak
8:00pm- 1 can tuna, 1tbl flax, one scoop whey. Cal:250 pro:61 fat:14 carb:1
Macro Totals; Calories:1555 Fat:43 Protein:267 Carb: 128ish
This is pretty much where i am diet wise. Any and all advice is welcome..thanks a lot.

Dude, I'm no expert but 1555 calories is waaay too low for your size. I would totally rethink your diet and are you sure that you counted your cals right? you should really split up your cardio and weight lifting and make sure you do cardio on an empty stomach at 65-70% of your max heart rate.
Your 11:00 meal needs to be either pro/fat or pro/carb but do leave the veggies in there. In your 2:00 meal, I would replace the shake with whole food and leave the shake for your PWO meal.
Let's have the pros chime in.
Good luck bro!

Look up the Harris benedict formula. Read the section under losing weight; there is a formula that you plug your data into...very easy.
Ideally you should have between one and two meals between cardio and working out. That's what i have found works best for me. Experiment and see what you come up with.
Hope this helped a little.
