    Last meal b4 workout

    I do my weights(30-45 min.) and cardio(at least 45min) in the eve. ( in that order). I know ppl in here will say to split them up, but I already get up at 5 am to get ready for work and getting up any earlier would cut into my sleep time. My question is how many hrs b4 I begin my workout should I consume my last meal. I'm curently trying to cut down on BF%. 35 yo 230 lbs. 5'-9".
    I would guess that meal b4 workout would b pro/carb correct?

    Maybe I didn't word this correctly. I will try again. Basically my question is about my pre workout meal. Some of the post I have read say pro/carb b4 workout and time ranges from right b4 up to 2 hrs b4 workout. I have been eating pro/carb about 3 hrs b4 workout. just want to know if this sounds ok

    make it as close as possible with you feeling as comfortable (during your workout) as possible. shoot for an hour or slightly sooner, whatever your body will allow.

    Thanks Nova. Currently been eating 2-3 hrs b4 workout. Trying to put together a diet and will change when I eat my pre workout meal

    if ur eating 3 hours before just add a pro/carb meal about 45 mins before hand, and u should be fine.
