    Berad Vs. Oats

Oats are nasty so I thought about replacing them with 2 slices of bread. I don't know the difference on the GI chart but here is the breakdown of each.

    Quaker Oats
    Serving size: 1/2 cup
    Calories 150
    -calories from fat 25
    Total Fat 3g
    Total Carbohydrates 27g
    Protein 5g

    Iron Kids Bread
    Serving size: 2 slices
    Calories 120
    -calories from fat 10
    Total Fat 1g
    Total Carbohydrates 26g
    Protein 4g

This is the way I look at it...when you can go for the food that is the least processed. In this case oats are far less processed than bread is. Anytime a human is involved in changing food in some fashion before it gets to you you know you arent getting exactly what nature intended. The more men interfere with mother nature the worse it is for us in the end...and this sadly is for almost all aspects of life.

Try putting a dash on cinnamon on it. Personally I love oats, but everyone has different tastes. Many mornings I will mash up a banana into my oats and it tastes fantastic man, I suggest you give it a go, but of course do not put any water or milk on the oats, they must be dry and then have banana mashed in with them.

that works quite well. also if you have no problem mixing macros peanut butter and dry oats is a personal favorite you can add bananas also. i didnt really like oats when i first started eating them but that is cause i was so used to the sugar filled ones. once my cravign for crappy carbs disipated they came to grow on me

I blend 1 banana, 1 cup oats and 2 scoops whey with water for carb/protein shakes.

    Oats rule.

Tuna just seemed like hair when I tried to drink it. That is the closest I ever came to puking from eating something gross.
