i dont trust em. but i guess if they work... do it up.
Why wouldn't you trust em?
Don't you know the saying...."Never trust a sweet potatoe...or anything ending with a "toe"...including...toe?Originally Posted by GUnit33

The only ingredient on the side of the can is Sweet Potatoes. There isn't anything added, the can is just vaccuum sealed for freshness.
I will look for them the next time i go to the supermarket..
can you give the brand name a plug
i don't know really. i guess i would just rather have fresh produce, why not just bake a fresh one? i guess convenience of having it warm??? i dont know. but if its legit, them why not right.Originally Posted by GUnit33
I tossed the can, but I'm gona go and get em again either tommorow or thursday, than I'll post back. I check 3 different supermarkets and Hy-Vee was the only one that had em.Originally Posted by jpkman
I got these the other day too. I saw the huge cans and I almost got wood! i bought like 12 of them. So good! You can usually find them in the rice aisle at Shop Rite
can someone give the nutritional value to the canned sweet potatoes?
I saw these in the store tonight. No syrup added sweet potatoes. They had 12g sugar per serving, which included 2 potatoes. That seems like a lot of sugar if these weren't included PWO on a cutting diet.
Natures Pride is the brand name. 12g of sugar is quite a bit, but if you eat the sweet potatos like once a week, its not gona kill you.
