Just wondering. I am an endo and doing fine on whey pre w/out only but just wanted to see if anyone had a story or two. I do not mean carbs right before a workout. I mean in the meal about 1 1/2 prior to working out (oats, rice, etc..)

that's how i do it cutting or bulking. always carbs before working out.
Yeah but more like 45 minutes before I lift.
I work out in the morning and I almost always have a maltodextrin/whey drink about 30 minutes before. Cutting or not, if I miss it I usually burn out quicker.
the only carbs I have when cutting is the carbs pre and post workout. Usualy both is a shake with milk, whey and banana.
I keep my carbs intake at a low while cutting. I have some with my pre-workout meal and some simple carbs post. You have to experiment a little. Also stamina and energy start falling at a certain point. It really takes a toll on mind and body, so best to determine your tolerance and what works best. Nonetheless yes some complex carbs pre-workout is what I take.
well my first 4 meals of the day are carbs so yeah i do to as well.
