yes or no to fat preworkout

Been thinking that with less fat (5 grams) and about 50 protein preworkout from whey would raise slin slightly, that might be a better option that my usual whey with flax. I have 3-4 other meals throughout the day with fat, would taking fat out of the preworkout meal be that big a deal. It seems to make me lethargic anyway preworkout.

If it's making you lethargic switch to carbs...try 1 cup oats with whey. This Always gets me pumped.

wait...I just got the last part of your question; I thought you meant eating a pro/fat meal before your workout makes you lethargic, my bad.

Well if you take out the good fats from your pre work out meal there is no source of energy there. I would imagine your body will go for the muscle because you didn't feed it fats or carbs. Never eat protein alone.

I would not have pro/fat preworkout. I think pro/carb preworkout, whether cutting or bulking, is a MUST.

    I use pro/fat before a workout myself.

Just find what's best for you as an individual.
