I actually dont know really. I dont see it being any different in theory for insulin. But hey I am speculating so keep that in mind, I dont know for sure.
If I was you and I was out of dex I would just use a white potatoe or rice PWO for carbs along with your whey.
This is kind of an interetsing question, here is what I found in google but it doesnt really answer the question
What's the difference between sugar, glucose, dextrose, sucrose, lactose, fructose, maltose...
STOP!!! Another chemistry lesson coming up... Apart from the first one, they all end in -ose. That just means it's a sugar.
The simplest sugar molecule is glucose, also called dextrose. Rather cleverly, glucose molecules make good building blocks. Also they are not symmetrical. So there's also a left handed version, called fructose. Sucrose (also called table sugar, granulated sugar or just plain sugar, ie that white stuff in the sugar bowl) is made up of one glucose and one fructose molecule. Maltose (that stuff in Ovaltine) is two glucose molecules and so on. When you get long and random chains of sugar molecules, it's called starch and no longer tastes sweet.
Interesting stuff!
I used table sugar when i ran out of dex.. no problem
Thanks I guess it'll do untill I reup..
