    Are vegetables overrated?

Just wondering becasue ever since I have incorporated 14-16 grams of good fats with each protein meal, I have been running smooth and veggies seem to bloat me. I still have my chicken with green beans before bed but other than that, my body does not seem to need any more fiber than that. My fat count for the day is around 60-65 a day coming from 3 servings of flax and 1 serving of peanut butter.

Peas and carrots are higher in sugar than the rest of the veggie line, so these would not be in a cutters diet.

I am talking about green beans, spinach and broccoli. When I used to cut I used to eat 2 full cans of green beans, 1 can of spinach and 12 oz. of broccoli a day. It made me feel I was gaining weight. Now with the protein fat meals, it seems that I stay regular with only 1 can of green beans before bed.

    Unless it is MSNBC.

What about butter spray from the can. The propelent stuff. I use that on ALL veggies. Is that stuff dangerous. Is one can of vegetqbles at a time too much?

Is what stuff dangerous? are you refering to the butter spray? No, its not dangerous at all. 1 can of veggies...most while cutting stay away from carrots and peas because of their sugar etc but 1-2 cups of broccoli is great. I eat veggies when I'm feeling more famished than usual between meals.

Ingredients include propelent, heeard it was not good for you. The only veggies I EVEr touch are canned green beans no salt added, canned spinach no salt added and broccoli. Lettuce got to be a pin and did not last that long. Are onions ok with P/F meals? I love them in beans and fried up in the skillet with egg whites.

ya, I utilize the I can't believe it's not butter spray in almost every meal...has yet to harm me. Carmalized onions are b!tchin! I love them with my steak or chicken breast. For me, it's mostly just broccoli with spinach and lettuce.

I can't see one possible senario where you could say vegtables are overrated. They are very very important. Perhaps even underrated.

Veggies are the shit! Used to dislike them as most younger kids do, but now I have a fetish for steamed brocolli w/the butter spray and salt/pepper.

When I get the munchies I eat that.
