Effects of high carb days while cutting

If pwo carbs are in place, you are retaining or gaining strength, what is the point of a higher clean carb day?

Well if you are cutting its always a good idea to have a clean carb refeed day because it refills your muscles and resets your metabolism especially when your feeling lethargic.

If your bulking and are taking in a mod.-high amount of carbs, a refeed day isn't really needed.

If you are cutting and still gaining strength and not feeling tired/lethargic/no energy, you probly don't need a refeed. Wait until your energy drops or your not burning fat.

Hope this helps, good luck man!

I am tired before lifting but strength is increasing so I figure I would just not have a high day.

I am currently lifting monday through friday and doing cardio Monday through Saturday with carb only pwo and ppwo, 100 grams total.

If I do eat higher carbs on my rest day (Sunday) I will just eat my six meals but make every one of them oats, that will be about 330 grams of carbs or so becasue I would like to hit maint. calories, around 2600 or so.

it kicks your metabolism up a notch and helps refeed a little extra glycogen. but glycogen will only be refilled fully probably when cutting is completed, and bulking eating ensues.
