Not for me man. I dont even take one shake per day. I will admit MAYBE sometimes in the middle of the night or directly before bed if im hungry as hell I will have a shake with flax. That is it.
Whole food is so much better for you man. I cant express this enough, I have noticed dramatic changes in my physique while switching to all food diet and no shakes. You feel better too, you get more nutrients/vitamins.
true that.
I gotta start a cutting diet in 2 weeks, and Im scared!!!!!!![]()
What am I todo with my life?
Help
*puts razor to wrist*
You can have food shakes...I do....literally food shakes....blend the foood in the blender, add hot sauce, oilve oil and herbs to taste.....because getting in 5000-6000calories from solid food is a FVCKING PAIN IN THE ASS

not too much water...a lil bit less than half a quarter of a cup, you don't want it too "thin" either.

He can simply chew a bit as the foods will not completely liquidated
but good point nonetheless
Johan were the results from this acceptable ?Originally Posted by johan
you can pic them up in any supplement store. Digestive enzymes are enzymes the body release to break down the different nutrients. Some of them are in the saliva and you miss out on them if you just do shake.Originally Posted by kyjelly
Not that I think it is a big deal. But better safe than sorry because having a disturbed stomach is anoying![]()
well acctualy I seemed to drop a bit of extra fat. Biggest problem was hunger but after a week I stopped beeing as hungry. My stomach didnt quite like it either to never eat any real solid food. I did supplement with alot of seeds to get enough fibers though. Otherwise my stomach would have killed me.Originally Posted by Kale
Overall it didnt effect me negativly at all, I keept on gaining strenght and losing fat. But I dont think it would have worked that well in the long run. I would get deficient in something sooner or later. Probably b vitamins. Whey is acctualy suprisingly rich in minerals though.
I only did it because I had a 15kg(33ibs)bag of whey at home and no money for food.
PRotein shakes are just a supplement they dont/cant replace a wholesome meal. I use shakes to tweak or fill in voids. The backbone and bulk of my nutritional values are still derived from Chicken breasts tuna, steaks, salads, fruits, oatmeal, brown rice, cottage cheese et cetera
