Need advice, check my new pics

Sick of cutting and still ending up with this skin. I was VERY overweight (290 for about a year and 175 at age 12) for over 16 years and this S!*%? is never going to go away.
This pic I am 6 foot, 178 and not sure about BF % becasue of the loose skin around lower abs. Hell, I would rather be 220 punds than be like this. I am 32 and ready to throw in the towel on cutting and focus on getting bigger for about 3 years. I know how to eat and have not even cheated in over 23 days.

Tell me what you think about the skin. Thanks for all the help.

I have my underwear pulled ove most of the skin but you can still see it hanging.

Are those stretch marks, or just a bad picture? Or are they scars or what?

Also, it's saturday morning, and people are probably still asleep. If I were you, I'd get on a bulking diet and beef up a bit for a few months, and than cut again. Slowly but surely that excess skin will go away. It'll take time, but it'll happen.

you cannot fix loose skin like that through diet IMO, you need to see a plastic surgoun to take care of it.

Wow, way to change your life bro! Nice job losing the weight (I use to weigh about 245 and dropped a lotta fat as well).

As far as the loose skin, I know there was a post on this before but I didn't know what the guy ended up doing in regards to his loose skin.

Give bulking a shot, bro. Don't be discouraged either. You've obviously made tremendous improvements to your health and overall physique. If it really irks you, I would say see how you look after a clean bulk- I remember reading a past thread where someone was in a similar situation to yours. He felt much better about hit appearance after putting on some solid lbs. Either way, don't get down on yourself. You are one of the very, very few people who have the drive and determination to make such changes. Keep at it, bro .

    Goodluck.

DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED!!! ... don't throw the towel in bro you have made tremendous improvements...on the second link I can see your intercostals... don't start bulking because of the loose skin....I agree with SteveO...check with a plastic surgeon and see how much it would be to have that corrected... you've completely changed your body and life..don't give up now...

Man you should be aswomely fvcking ptroud of your self, you look fantastic !! Think about what you have achieved here. I dont know if you can afford it but plastic surgery will take care of all of that skin no problem. Stick with it man and dont thow in the towel.

bro, you should be f$ckin proud of yourself. It is obvious how much work you have put in. Don't let that excess skin let you down, but try the clean bulk and then check with a surgeon after that!

Ya! That is a big step toward your health. That is just a little bit of loose skin. I'm sure if there is surgey needed it will be minor. If you've gone this far being a little more ways won't be hard!

Awesome, Awesome work man - DO NOT give up !!
You may find that your skin tightens up a little with time, but I suspect it could require surgery.

I thought that if you lost a significant amount of weight.. and could prove it, the gov't would pay for that type of surgery... might be something to look in to..

way to go though... you look great!

    Hey bro!

Congrats! DO NOT GIVE UP..I repeat..DO NOT GIVE UP..

I have the same problem (though not as pronounced).... You have come much further than you think...

Do not bulk as yet, because your loose skin will suck the fat right back up! Eat maintenance calories and let your BF stabilize between 9-12 % Then, after a few weeks of this stability, like the other bros suggested, consult with a plastic surgeon... I'm thinking a mini-tuck.. a quick procedure that should keep you out of the gym for 2 wks tops! That way, just consider it a well deserved break from all the hard work!

congrats bro...you should be very proud of your achievement

    cheers

You have done an awesome job bro.

I know how you feel as i was in your EXACT same position. I actually went on to have a full tummy tuck to sort the problem out. Well worth it IMO.

Let us know what you decide to do

Damn, great improvement. Way to take control and lose the weight. Surgery can fix that pretty easily, I'd look into insurance taking care of it..

    Amazing job...you should be proud

That would be insane if the government picked up the tab for cosmetic surgery because it's exactly that, cosmetic. But damn if they do...

Extra skin is sometimes a problema nd as people have said above me - unfortunately it is not always solved thru diet and exercise.

I was 210lbs at one time myself and i guess im fortunate enough not to have excess skin, I do have some very faint stretch marks - but i call them war wounds.
