how many carbs do you eat when cutting?

Ive been eating 200g. That pretty much just includes some oats for breakfast and then my pre/post WO nutrition. Come 6pm I feel sooo run down and I want to just hibernate.
Ive been taking Clen or EC, Inj b12 and oral b complex....it only helps for acouple of hrs

    how about you guys?

Carbs make me bloat, so I eat as little as possible. I don't react well with them, but I make sure I get down at least 100g a day. Oats in the am, and fiberous veggies throughout the day.

Caffeine/ECA helps me temporaraly, but no, not really

I once tried NO-Explode a year back and that really did help, made me a little hyper though and a bit sick

Lets say I take in 224g of carb on workout days and about 200 on non....is a carb up day on sunday still necessary to boost metabolism/fill your muscles without going over your maintenance cals?

Isn't a cut and dry answer.. That'd depend on a number of factors.

Your individual metabolism.. whether 200-224 gr fills you out.. or if you're flat at that amount.

Some people will be flat.. some will spill over.

The carb-up day is totally unrelated.. as the function isn't simply to 'fill out'.. but to boost TSH and thus the metabolism

imo.. you're SUPPOSED to go over maintenance on the carb-up day.

Ok, makes sense. Ya, I usually feel fine but if I'm feeling sluggish etc. I'll do a carb up day eating like 2 cups of oats for each meal and the final will be pro/fat. We'll see how I feel. Thanks for the response buddy.

Usually around 200-220 last time I cut. Did a lot better than the first time where I had 100-120

How does that 5 meal a day thing work out for you? I am sick of 6-7 meals but do not feel right unless I get 300 protein in me and I am only 180 lbs. It seems I am always watching the damn clock.

I'm kinda stuck with the same problem here, I want to slowly gain weight but at the same time I'm scared of rounding out, maybe this is just a weird paranoid thought of mine

    300 grams @ 180 lbs?

    Do you think that's necessary?

You do know that carbs are protein sparing.. Thus if you're taking in adequate carbs your protein needs'll be around 1 gr per lb LBM/BM

    Have you been gaining?

When i hit 212 this year @ 5'6" i wasn't taking in more than 250 grams of protein

    Solution's simple.

    Try carb cycling

Additionally.. incorporate cardio during your 'bulkers'
