    Corn syrup the same as dextrose?

    The closest thing I can find in town to dextrose is corn syrup? Is it the same as corn sugar (dextrose)? Will it work the same?

    Where do you live?
    sweet tarts, bottle caps, gummy bears will work in the place of dextrose.

    I don't get dextrose. I was readying the back and it said 4g sugar and 4 g carbs per 1.25 teaspoon. Don't seem benificial to me. What am I missing?
