diet and sugar
ok i'm eating well and laying off the carbs in my last two meals. After my last meal (a steak and brussel sprouts) i fell like i need a sugar hit like a massive glass of milo. The only sugar i have during the day is a little bit of cordial. i'm finding it hard to stick to my diet without hardly any sugar in it. Anyone got any tips?

its good to spike your insulin PWO with 80g or so of a fast absorbing sugar like dextrose
other than that i just drink crystal light when i want something sweet.

sugar free popsicles, trident tropical twist and watermelon twist gum are awesome!! sugar free syrup on egg whites (walden farms) is the sh!t too.

80g dextrose is going a bit overboard for PostWout IMO.. the body can't utilize/shuttle all of that effectively.. Try 40g dextrose and an hour later 30-40g complex carbs.
