    BAD cheat day! Questions

Ok I have been on a VERY strict diet, and today had a HUGE cheat day well 2 huge cheat meals and I mean HUGE to the point that I almost puked!

How bad will this be to recover from? What did this do to my body?

Dont worry about it, if anything it will "recharge" your body and energize it by filling in any lacked micro/macronutrients. Everyone needs a cheat day, for me when cutting I have a whole cheat day once a week, I try to still eat half clean and keep the ketosis in check but it does good on the mind and body

Depends on what you ate really. A dozen Krispie Kreams... yeah, you've done some damage. A enourmous amount of clean food... no, you'll be just fine.

I'd say you're okay.. just dont weigh yourself for the next 3-4 days, it'll depress you needlessly...wait for all the junk u ate to clear the system. Also, like buffsob said, if you gorged on high GI sugary stuff, it will set you back a bit...but only a bit....nothing a week of returning to a strict diet cant fix tho

Word. Stay off that scale. It'll make you cry. haha

Chances are if you only did them in "meals", it shouldn't set you back very much. Now if was constant eating throughout the day, like a kid locked in a candy store, that's another story. I've done this before in my early years. It set me back weeks. Who knew a couple batches of brownies, icecream, 3 jars of natty pb, and a wide assormant of baked goods and candies could do so much damage?

dude, you shouldn't have a whole cheat day, just a cheat meal. The cheat meal should happen once a week on any day, but only for one meal. And don't overdue it by like eating a dozen donuts. A combo meal and a few cookies would be better.

Haha. You'd think so. You know that saying, "Your eyes were bigger than your stomach"? That's never applied to me.

    Ummm....

    1/4 of a large pizza
    3 double cheese burgers
    10 chicken fingers
    5 granola bars
    1/4 can of peanut butter
    1/2 gallon milk
    5 choc chip muffins

this was spread between 2 meals....IT was the weirdest feeling EVER, it was almost like I could just eat forever literally, each bite made me more and more hungry. By the time I was done my stomach hurt SO bad yet for some reason my brain kept telling me to chow down. Was a weird ass feeling. Then about an hour later after the food started to digest my heart starting racing and my whole body was kinda shaking.

But prior to this my diet has been extremly strict I am actually prepping for my first contest. I had already dropped aboout 24 lbs in 8 weeks...... My muscles REALLY filled out afterwards!

I wouldnt worry about it but everyones metabolism is different. I cheat every Sunday. No gym. No work. Just hangn out at the house and eating whatever I want when I want it. Some Sundays I'll actually eat pretty good, maybe just some ice cream. But on other Sundays it may be a combo meal, ice cream, cake , cookies and some soda. Usually by the end of the day I feel like complete shit. But it works for me. Monday morning I'm sooo ready to get back on track with new motivation. I swear after being so bloated on sunday I wake up monday and am tight as hell!

    update....

Well my cheating ways went on for a couple days, I tried fighting it but my body was telling me it HAD to have those bad bad foods it was a very weird feeling cuz usually I can fight the cravings but this time it was a bit different I just couldnt say no.

Well I gained alot of water and prolly a little fat too but my muscles filled out big time. I think I needed that bit of cheating because now I feel recharged and ready to hit it hard again, my mental focus is better than ever. 9 weeks till showtime!
