losing weight has nothing to do with eating less meals. in a recent study hundreds of people were taken, half of which normally eat 4 meals a day and half of which eat 3 meals a day on a regular basis. For the study the two groups switched their normal habits and either changed from 4 to 3 or 3 to 4. Which no restrictions on what they were allowed the eat the group that changed from 3 to 4 show no weight gain what so ever. But the group that went from 4 to 3 did.

Its about eating the rights foods bro, plain and simple. This website alone as gotten my eating happens down to near perfection. its not about how much you eat, beacuse the less you do eat the more fat your body will store.

agree with purple. eating 1 meal a day will slow your metabolism down to nothing. Your body reacts like its being starved and will conserve fat stores and break down lean muscle mass to be converted to glycogen for instant energy. Eating like this is bad for your health and is counter-productive. You need to cowboy up and get off that appetite suppressant crap and start putting some hard damn work in. Do some research then make a diet and stick to it. Do plenty of cardio preferably AM on an empty stomach. There is no quick or easy way of looking good.

My buddy did something like this before. He would eat one meal a day then chew gum to keep the hunger down for the rest of the day. In the end, the Doctor advised he did lose a lot of weight but most of it was MUSCLE ! You might see the scale dropping but so is your health internally.

Read up on the diet section.

if your 27% bf and just lost 50 pounds, you lost a ton of muscle. the first thing your body eats when in starvation mode is muscle. remember that. you could have the same results eating 6 times a day and saving the muscle.

congrats on losing 50lbs already...hats off to you...
you've probably already noticed or will soon that you're not losing as fast as in the beginning and eventually like already stated your metabolism is going to slow big time....can you slow this weight loss down or do you need to lose this shiat by a certain time(trying to enter the marines)?
At some point you may need to even gain a few back of good muscle to get back and increase your metabolism.

Yes I would eat more protein if you can and like said already...4-6 complete smaller meals...LOT better than 1.

Congrats again from where you came from.

the question is... what was that 50lbs? fat? doubt it. that's why you still see a lot of fat. calories burned isn't necessarily FAT calories burned. do some reasearch, eat 6-7 small meals a day. and keep them loaded with protein and research a good cardio method and how to do it effectively. do cardio everyday, and keep your diet clean. be smart here, don't use steroids.

aright....gotta give my 2 cents here. I weighted 360 lbs about 2 years ago. I'm down to 240. Now here's the thing... I've done your "diet" before...w/o the roids...sure...you loose 50lbs...great. Then when you start eating normally...which will happen...you will gain it all back if not more. If you look at a "diet" as something to help you loose weight...then you are on the wrong track. You should be looking to change your diet to a healthy one. Something that can be maintained indefinately and that will optimize your health and metabolism. Don't look for the quick fix. Do it right and it will stay off.

As far as the AAS..I dont' take any because I am no where near low enough % nor have I taken my body to anywhere near it's natural physical limitations. If you take AAS, with improper diet and bad workout regime, you are pissing away your money. And I assume you have a bad workout regime simply by the fact that your diet habbits are so bad, i figure you probably haven't researched much into proper lifting.

I agree! but I look at it as more of I'm going to be eating healthy forever (cutting and bulking etc.) so I take away the "diet" aspect of it and think of it as a lifestyle change for the better. Remember: food is only fuel. Eat to live, don't live to eat (unless your bulking lol)
