Need some help putting my girls diet together...
hey all, need some help putting together my girls diet. A couple things to take into consideration. She's in no way thick but has put on 15lbs in the last year, and she's not comfortable with herself right now. She's in the gym 4 days a week with a mild workout regimin and 45 minutes of various cardio after her workouts. Be it that I know her workouts and cardio are in check, we really need to get her diet in check. What kind of diet would you guys recommend? It can't be too unreasonable, as I have to live with her
I would do a ckd but that's not fesible for her.

Make it real simple if she's not used to dieting. 4-5 meals a day, consisting of complex carbs, lean protein, and healthy fat. She really doesn't have to seperate macros, just keep it clean.
What everyone needs to realize about putting a woman on a diet (Especially one you live with), is that their goals are far different from ours. They're usually not willing to go through the same shit we go through. At least... not at first. So make it easy and simple to start out with. Take a look at her normal eating habits. Frequency, quality of food, etc. If your girl is used to eating at abnormal times, say 2-3 big meals a day, then it'll be a big switch to go to 6. If she eats constantly, with no real "meals", then you'll have to limit her frequency to around every 3 hours. You're going to need to fit the diet to her, to make things less painful for both of you.
So basically... Keep kcals under maintainence, set specific meal times, and clean up the quality of food. Match that with a good cardio and workout routine, and she'll see the results she's looking for. (Without tearing your head off)
