    cutting cycle and calorie question

    ok, when on a cutting cycle, is the goal to eat as low of calories as possible while still trying to keep a decent amount of protein, or should you only eat slightly lower calories then it takes to keep your muscle mass as calculated in the how to bulk sticky.

    google the harris benedict formula...whatever your calorie level comes out to be subtract 500 and you'll be all set

    yes, i have done that.

    so you are saying if i eat 1000 less than the fomula predicts, then i will be loosing muscle, even while on a cycle?

    i am concerned that the fomrula does not take BF % into account. i may weigh 220lbs, but if i dont want to eat caloires to stay if i am only 200lb of muscle right?
