please recommend any good carbs and flavor enhancers!

O.K I am trying to expand my diet, can you recommend any good carbs standard for bb’ers other than the ones I have listed? Also low carb flavor enhancers that you regularly use that are not listed? Is there a health difference in yams and sweet potatos, why do bb eat them anyways? Thanks, trying to learn!

    Carb list :

    Oats
    Brown/white rice
    Sweet potatoes
    Yams
    Salad

    Low Carb flavor enhancers:

    I can’t believe it’s not butter spray
    Soy sauce
    Mustard
    Balsamic vinegar
    Mustard
    Hot sauce

WW bread / pasta (if you can find legit brands), chick peas, i've heard of people using grits as well.

1 cup rice, 1 can red beans, .5 cup hot salsa. Through that in a low carb wrap with some chicken and you got yourself a meal (665 calories). Or divide it into two meals if you are eating lower cals.

    flavor enhancers:
    chohlua
    szechuan sauce
    spices/seasonings (ms. dash, etc)
    low-carb dressings

the easiest way to find flavor enhancers that are low-carb is hit up your local health food store. mine has a dressing section where i get some and another section for cooking sauces that go great on food. takes some searching, but the stuff tends to have far less sugars than you'd see with the items stocked on walmarts or publixs shelves.

GARLIC, GARLIC, GARLIC, or pretty much anything in the leek family. i like to chop up an onion and throw it in a pan with a tiny bit a water and add some basil, curry, or pretty much any seasonings you have. cook that for 5min or so then throw your chicken and rice (or whatever meat and carb your using) in. the onions will give a nice flavor to the meal, but i use garlic in pretty much everything i eat. it is extremely healthy (especially if it is not cooked much) and also adds a great flavor.
