    carb intake

    just wondering if there was a rule of thumb when it came to carb intake and cutting?? I am not cutting for a show yet but am slowly droping some lbs before xmas. I heard it was 0.5 grams of carbs per lbs of body weight is that accurate???

    Depends on your stats/goals etc.
    I would consume carbs: 1st meal, PRE, PWO, PPWO
    The first meal isn't needed but just depending on how the rest of your diet looks etc.

    my goal is just to save muscle . I am running about 75-80 grams protein over my body weight. with some gear. right now my carb intake is 170 and my bw is 272

    I usually keep mine around 200-220. As I move along I'll slowly bump them down..I like the idea of taking carbs throughout the day and keeping blood insulin levels stable. It worked much better for me than cosuming breakfast and PWO

    I am having trouble finding a middle ground? I'm 5'7, weigh 188. I want to bulk up a little with gains of lean body mass. Finding middle ground is tough.
