    very low calorie diets

I have come to the realization that i just want to be healthy and hold as little mass as possible while being fit. and to tell you the truth the lower the calories and less food the happier i will be i hate eating. So whats the lowest i can go in everyday life and stay healthy. I iweigh 180 right now at 510 my bmi on an inactive day is about 1800 cals. Can i live a healthy life eating 1600 cals a day and what would be the negatives of this? Thanks

i keep hearing/reading that low cal diets are linked to longer life...i'm just the opposite....dinner bell rings and i'm like a starved dog and love every minute of it....while i'm young i'm gonna keep it this way but try to go your route when i approach middle age (60)

I would imagine holding onto any muscle will be hard but if you don't want to look muscled then go for it.
