First meal of the day timeframe

    Hey all,
Currently with my work schedule I usually wake up at around 7-715am. I'm out the door by 8am, on the subway by 8:10am and at work by 9am. I eat breakfast at work (Usually a cup of oatmeal/1packet equal/and some whey protein) at about 9:30 or so. Anyways, is the 2-2.5 hr timeframe I wait before eating my first meal too long? If not cool, if so any recomendations as what to grab and chug on the run to the subway? I was maybe thinking of immediately eating a whey shake at 7am then eating a bit of a smaller breakfast at 9:30 or so. Any input is appreciated.

Well, depends on how long you want to starve your body? Your last meal the night before was at ....oh lets say 10pm and you went to bed at midnight got up at 7 am. already you starved your body for 9 hours and on top of that you are expending energy from the time you get out of bed requiring fuel. So you wait another 2.5 hours, now you starved yourself for almost 12 hours......your body is not gonna like you for that.
IF you are not doing cardio immediately upon waking, then you are best to get SOME nutrition in your body for fueling your activity level until the next meal. JMHO

when im pressed for time in the morn i will get a couple scoops of whey in some milk and blend in a cup of oats. then eat after i get to work usually 1.5 to 2hrs later. that is something you can easily blend the night before if time is an issue....shake it drink and go

Simple solution, get up earlier. Now I dont know what your goals are but Im assuming you want to get bigger and you have some concern or you wouldnt have even posted this. So let me say, bodybuilding is not about convenience and never will be and you wont get away with it. Its not like another sport where you can skip something and pick it up a few hours later, NO every bit of time you waste has an impact and you cant avoid it.
