    Cans of Salmon?

Any reason (Besides taste) that most use cans of tuna to get the protein needs as opposed to cans of salmon? Just curious because, I was at the supermarket and noticed cans of salmon on sale. Items such as: http://www.bumblebee.com/products_indiv.jsp?prodid=207. Cans of tuna are about $1.79 (same as the cans of Salmon when not on sale) but, the salmon has extra protein and contains 1.0g *****3 EFA's per serving. Input/ideas welcome. I'm thinking its just a taste thing but, wanted to ask anyways. Ty in advance.

I eat with tuna and rice

but in all honesty Salmon (fresh) gets a bit expensive thats why i usually eat it out of a can.

Another reason is that to much salmon in this day and age isnt a good thing. Not with all the toxins that get stored in fatty fish.
