Yes as long as you calories(Carbs,Pros,Fat) consumed are higher then calories burned. Use BMR and use "very active" equation.
What do you mean by the end bit??
What I mean is that when you are using the Harris-Benedict formula to calculate you daily requirements. It is neccessary to input your level of activity. You can be sedentary or upto very active, in your calculations, hence if you're doing thai boxing then you should utilize very active as the "activity level" or the outputed results will not be sufficient
