    Cook and Store

I read from this thread that most of you cook food in a large batch (like for a week or so) and store them in the freezer for later.

How do you do it exactly?
Lets take chicken breast for example.

    STEP 1: COOK chicken
Do you cook it over a grill, boil it, steam it, mirowave it or pan fry? Do you use any seasoning at all during cooking?

    STEP 2: STORE chicken
I would think that you separate those cooked chicken into zip loc bags and store em in the freezer.

    STEP 3: REHEAT chicken
Do you just throw the frozen chicken into the microwave oven to defrost and reheat before eating?

I just can't figure it out.

I've been cooking for about 3 days in advance lately. Usually just grilled chicken breasts and whole grain rice. To make different flavors I just use different veggies, hot sauces or soy sauce. Pretty simple and bland but it's easy and inexpensive.

    Hey thanks guys.

When you said cook anyway with sauces and all, do you mean that it is ok to cook meat with sauces before storing in the fridge/freezer? Or do we cook them plain to store and add the sauces when reheating?

Also, is grilling meat the most common way for bodybuilding?
