best bedtime food
I get hungry pretty regularly before bed. What is the best thing to eat or drink before bed to satisfy and not cause weight gain? Banana, tuna? I usually eat bananas before bed.
Also, why do people eat cottage cheese? what advantages is it?

Before bed i eat steak and eggs, this is because the two, when eaten together are slowly digested, this also means you can eat a large amount of protein at once as it will be slowly digested.
Then i wake at around 2.30AM for my casein blend drink.

Well fruit wont really play with your insulin levels, cellulose and fructose arent broken down into glucose...BUT they can be stored in fat cells just as easily so before bed wouldnt be my ideal time to eat thembut if you arent a bodybuilder or really preparing for anything and just looking to be healthy I dont really see anything WRONG with it.
Just my opinions of course.

For the last week I've been consuming approx 75-100low GI carbs about an hour before bed, so far seems to have really filled me out and I'm very vascular in the AM. Working off approx 3800 calories.
