    A Cutting meal

I go to college and its kinda hard to find lean meats and campus food is what I have to eat during the year. This meal is basically a Flour Tortilla with turkey ham, veggies guacamole onions tomato and cheese. Wondering if it is a really bad meal or should I cut it in half and use it for two meals?

Thanks... would it be better if I slip it up over the course of 2 meals

It's ok except for the amount of sodium.
The fats are from the avocado so it's o.k.

Yeah... I live in a dorm. Campus meal plans cost me 1200 dollars for the semester. I don't really have much access to purchasing my own food cuz I dont have transportation. But I do stock up on canned tuna, salmon, and sardines when I get a chance. And I do have a microwave

you should be able to find the kind of food you need from your campus meal plan. when i had to eat in the cafeteria, they ALWAYS had grilled chicken breasts, veggies, potatoes, rice etc. come to think of it, if i had food prepared for me everyday i'd be fvcking huge lol.

for some reason at my school, they have fried foods like chicken and fried steak. Occasionally they would have turkey and I would stock up on that. But the reason i ask is because its hard to eat a actually meal at my school without eating any unhealthy food if I want to get my daily protein intake. I kinda wish i had the money and the resources to make my own food.

also.. I am trying to limit my carb intake so I generally avoid potatoes. Plus i think they are disgusting by itself.

first, if you are eating at the cafeteria on a meal plan i believe your college is REQUIRED to serve some healthy options. yes, i'm sure they have fried foods, but you can't tell me they don't have something that would fit into a decent diet.

second, even if they don't, which i would find absurd, then start preparing your own foods. if money is an issue, get a job. my groceries run me around $150 a week on top of rent, and personal expenses i make it work. trust me bro, i'm in college too and it isn't impossible. difficult sometimes yes, but it's all about how bad you want it.

btw where do you go school?

this is a decent read too, nothing comprehensive but it gives some great ideas such as taking food from the cafeteria with you.
