Thread: Efa For Fatloss?

    Question Efa For Fatloss?

A nutricianist recommended taking Flaxseed or 3*6*9 oil in my protien shakes with my current cutting diet. Most diets Ive seen on here incorparate this in there diet but it just sounds strange to me to take in fat on a cutting diet, how does it help? Also 1 of my protien shakes is right before bed, is it OK to take at this time, would it be stored as fat in my sleep? Thanks for any input

your nutritionist was right. Everyone should have essential fatty acids (EFA) in there idets. It aids fat loss buy promoting the burning of fatty acids for energy. It also provides a whole host of other benefits such as controlling BP,hormone levels, cholestrol, moods ect ect.
using EFAs at night is particuarly beneficial as it will slow the digestion of the protein therefore keeping you in an anabolic state for longer during sleep.

EFA's are good for all diets. Cutting, bulking, maintaining...whatever it may be.

Its becouse part of your daily calorie needs should come from fat that its high in EFAs so the fat burn muscle building is optimal, under your reasoning a person should exercice everyday and eat nothing all day creating a 3000 calorie deficit, wich makes no sence

either listen to arnold's old out dated info or take advice from people who are up to date and know what they are talking about. you asked for an answer and got it, why question it?
