    Whey a must

    do U guys think that whey protein is a must on a diet, or can be easily replaced by another kind of protein, im asking that becouse where i live a gram of whey protein is 4x to 6x more expencive than chicken protein, so do u think that I shuld pay that price diference for whey?

    Most people on here would say that protien from natural food is better as opposed to a suppliment. I would say try it for awhile, especialy if its that expensive. You will be eatin a lot of chicken though.

    i don't think whey is necessary by any means. i've completely cut it out of my diet with the exception of pwo and i'm working that out as well. don't get me wrong, whey has its place, but i'd take whole foods over whey anytime of the day.

    I've lost the most bodyfat when not drinking any shakes...remember it's supplement not a main food source.

    so if i just want to get cut but I dont want any more size, Its ok to replace my whey dex with Chick breast & oats?

    Lose the whey and go for the bird everytime if it's that cheap. As long as you eat it immediately after training you'll be fine.

    Whether you want simple carbs post workout is personal pref. I do, even when cutting, but others don't.

    I'd suggest try it and see what works for you.
