Tobey i know you can help me out on this one b/c it seems like you are an avid grits eater so help me out with how grits break down and how they are compared with oats please, also you have mentioned the cooked and not the instant. well how do the cooked ones compare and how long do they take to cook compared to the instant ones b/c instant ones sure are easy, thanx alot
bump please
all i can say is that my trainer instructed me to eat them in the a.m. and he was a Mr. Universe. He said that they were digested better and that you didn't get the bloat you would get from oats.
Winners never quit...Quitters never win!!!
Looks like cream of wheat to me, not suck thing as grits here in canada. If same as cream of wheat not as good as oats, but few less cals and fat but higher on GI index.
Made from corn so definately higher GI than oats
