I buy cartons of 100% Egg Whites that are pasteurized with nothing added, just the pasteurized whites.
Was just wondering about the bioavailability of the protein ?? Do you think it is better since it is not cooked off at all??
Just seems eaiser to drink a 10 oz glass in the morning with the rest of breakfast and get 27g of protein
SMAN.... why not just get them by the gallon like I do.....
I think the bio-availability is very close to the same cooked or raw

how fast do they ship them..and how do you know they are still good when they get to you?..not that i think i can order them and ship all the way to canada
i got mine in 3-4days.....they ship them frozen & pack them in a cooler box...I wouldnt worry about it this time of year....summer time i might worry....
I read somewhere that the bioavailability is about 58% when raw but when cooked you denature certain proteins, which makes the egg 98% bioavailability.
They technically have been cooked when pasterized.
Getnjakked, why in every egg thread do you plug that company? Why not just take it to a PM instead of saying "I hope I don't get in trouble" and then posting it anyway. Just seems odd.

I am simply using their product & I like it....nothing more-the same way other guys talk about egg beaters & their favorite proteins..etc.. I will not mention it anymore..didnt realize it upset you so much...In a thread about egg whites, why would/should I take it to pm? maybe you should have PMed me regarding this as well then.
When pasteurized you don't have to worry about salmenella or other organisms (like with raw eggs)?

you can drink them straight up if you want.
or cook them.
Always cook your eggs... I have heard on several places that raw eggs are not good for you and that you should always cook them.
