Im not as knowledgable about dieting as well as other members, but I also like subway, and have been staying away from eating it, but I would think a wheat tuna would be good. I would stay away from the sodium ridden salemis.

In case of a time crunch ... you should always have acceptable choices at some given places for meals... So I suggest if it is a healthy choice then its better than skipping a meal..

If you get the chicken breast one or the club one, but use the whole wheat bread not the white or the others. Also watch the dressing you put on it. I have them put just alittle Itallian dressing and the low fat mayo. Its prob one of the best fast foods you can get when your in a hurry.

here's the best deal my friend thought of.
Since most of us want high protein when we go there, depending on whether or not you need a lot of caolries for the day eaither get a 6" roasted chicken breat or chicken bacon ranch.
Why 6"?................becasue for 2$ more you can double the meat and get the same protein thats in a 12" sub with less calories and fewer carbs!!!!, and it costs considerably less than 12"..

No problem with subway if you are smart about it, When I am down in Oz I have it for lunch occasionally, I have a 12" whole meal role with chicken breast and beef. When they ask me what else I say nothing and they look at like I am from Mar's !!!!

the wheat bread at subway is far from actual whole wheat. i used to work at subway and at most locations they only have light mayo (which is hardly better). even when you say regular mayo, your really getting light. the 6 inch double meat club on wheat with lettuce and honey mustard is my personal favorite.
