    diet critique

I've been working out for a year now, and I've been getting good results. But now I'm looking for more; I want to trim down some and get tighter. I'm looking to drop some more BF and get my abs to show.

    This is my current diet.
    6AM - Muscle milk
    7AM - Work Out/45 min treadmill
    9:30AM - Protien shake(45g protien)
    12:00 - Lunch (protien + carbs)
    3:00 - protien + carbs (light)
    7:00 - protien + carbs (light)
    9:00 - muscle milk

    thanks for the feedback

First thing is first man...if your trying to get leaner DROP THE MUSCLE MILK. If your working out in the am, muscle milk is loaded with fats and is not an optimal pre-workout meal. I suggest adding a good complex carb meal(sweet potatoes, brown rice, oatmeal) with a quality lean protein source 1 hour before, the same after just in a larger quanitity. Keep that third meal Pro/Carbs as well for lunch and id start dropping them from then on out and add in some EFA's into your diet.

    Essential Fatty Acids - ***** 3,6 9's.

Get yourseld some smuckers Natural Peanut Butter, Fish Oil and Flaxseed oil and you will be set. I know walgreens usually has a buy 1 get 1 free on the fish/flax oil among other vitamins. For about 10 bucks you can get yourself 400 capsules worth of EFA's.
