    Eggs

    The content of an egg is 7grams and about 88cals right?

    If i didnt eat the yoke, what is the content of the egg without the yellow yoke?

    well there is no fat in the white and about 4 grams of protein so it would be about 16 cals.

    DUDE,

    4 cals in one gram of carbs and also 4 cals in one gram of protein

    9 cals in one gram of fat, I know from memory that there is 3 grams of protein in the yolk and about 4 grams of protein in the white.

    4x4=16, 16 calories.

    are eggs bad for you? i got told by a pro bodybuilder not to eat too many because i will get high colestral levels and mess my system up! is this right

    ^^ yes and no,

    pro's prob have to watch out for yolks cause gear will/can make cholesterol levels skyrocket so they dont wanna add fuel to the fire.

    you avg trainner can handle the yolks just fine, in fact the cholesterol will help your body produce test naturally cause cholesterol is used in the production of hormones.

    i like to limit myself to 3-4 whole eggs each day and another 10-12 whites (as there is no cholesterol in the white) throughout the day. on low carb days ill eat as many as 5-6 whole eggs to bumb up the calories overall.

    eggs are your friend, pros arent.

    I've been eating about that many whole eggs as well and just had my cholesterol checked about 2 months ago and I'm mint! Keep in mind I also eat oatmeal at least once a day and brown rice with a bowl of special K so I get a fair amount of fiber as well.
