    are these scales accurate?

    the one I got at walmart is a piece of shiit. there are some good calipers out there...you just have to get good at taking measurments...all it takes is practice

    uh...no.. I have one... it says I am 23% bodfat. Im not.closer to 8 I'd say.... so no they dont work AT ALL.

    Everyone's already said this, but I got mine at Sams's and it's horrible. It's not even relatively correct. I mean, sometimes my BF measures with calipers with a higher number and the scale says a lower number or vice versa. Mine says my BF is 27% and my BF measures with calipers between 16 and 17%.

    This article says in order for them to be accurate you cant excercise 12 hrs before and cant eat for 4 hours before. so that basically means they are never accurate
