    Is there a point?

when on a med- to low carb diet plan,, how long can you go and still get results? meaning do you really need to bump it every so often to keep losing weight?

as long as your body will go until you hit your BMR and you just continue to maintain your weight... i'm kind of unclear as far as what your question is.. but i think the answer lies within yourself. it all ***ends what your BMR is and what your workouts surround... When you hit your plateau post up your diet/cardio/workout and we can further help you.

i was just wondering, if on a low carb diet per say( around 120-180grams) is there a need to take a high carb day to keep your thyroid and metabolism functioning propely? or can one just go the whole way through on this amount of carbs and still continue week after week to lose bodyfat

on the workout days i personally would take in more carbs... in the form of PWO and PPWO normally.... this way i kind of auto-cycle and don't get carbs on non workout days and it evens itself out. Whatever works for you... no real "exact" or "correct" answer to this. Try carbing up days of/day before and see what works for you. Days off i keep carbs to a minimum and up my EFAs... good luck
