bedtime..enough to keep muscle, loose fat?!

    Hey all,

I usually eat my last meal at 5p.m. for example then hit an extreme workout using bodywieght(push/pull workouts) and jogging, then at around 9-10 pm I am ready for bed, I then always drink a protein shake then jump into bed, no food after the 5p.m. meal, well maybe 1 or 2 apples or some carrots.

Now I am not using any AS now so I am wondering, a chug of 30grams of protein right before I jump into bed is this going to be too much? Will alot of it be stored as fat? Or do you think my body will be able to utilize the whole 30grams for reperation of the muscles I spent the last 5 hours ****ing up?

hope you can understand this! lol

    thanks guys.

Drop the protein shake and fruit and add a 8-12 oz steak. Eat it RIGHT before you go to bed. This, in fact, will keep your matabolism working throughout the night and you will burn more calories. In addition, this meal will prevent catabolism and will keep your body from going into "starvation mode." The fat from the steak will aid in keeping your digestive process active.

So in otherwords, eat a real meal before bed. When bulking, in addition to my steak, I'll drink enough water in the pm to ensure that I wake up around 2-3am to piss. I'll have a protein shake ready to drink in the bathroom and I'll chug it before going back to sleep. This had added a lot of quality lean mass.

It all ***ends on your daily macros consumed. If you met your daily requirements then yes that night time shake can lead to fat gain.
