Dark bread vs White rice
First of all: Are "White Rice" the correct name ? I am from norway and just guessed.
Well I think you guys understand what I mean, "Regular rice", not Brown Rice.
Dark bread for the base for carbs in the diet?
White rice for base for carbs in the diet?
Which once of these is the "slowest" types of carbs?
I feel like I bloat on a DARK bread diet though, maybe it is all my milk intake at the time, don`t really know, will find out.

if you trying get your carb source and you want it to be on the lower gi scale which i assume.
brown bread/grain bread.
but see try have minmal amount of bread, and try get your carb source from something else.
like brown rice, some white rice is low in gi.
Like basmati rice, sweet potatoes, there is whole grain pasta now or wholemeal aswell, beans is good.
so they are good source of carbs.
Of course the king of all carbs, is Oats.
this should be in your diet already.

from my experience, oats/pasta trumps rice; rice trumps bread. It's an over simplification but, for example, I would opt for white rice over any type of bread anyday. That's because bread, of the four types, is the most processed source. However, my staple is oats, brown rice and whole-wheat pasta.
