Unless eggs are eaten with the yolks they are not a complete protien, no?

read this in univer. nutrition site

Avoid raw egg whites as a high protein, low fat food choice as they contain avidin which destroys biotin which is a nutrient.

I see no problem with egg whites, personally...

If you're worried about a loss of biotin then take some BCAA's.

I use dried egg whites.. they are pastuerised or whatever.. they kill the bacteria and sell it as a powder. Same shit and can be re constituted with adding water.

I use the eggs for my morning shake and post workout shake

Theres a chemical in Raw Eggs that is actually bad for you and has a reverse effect on protein synthesis. Always cook your eggs!! Ill get a couple of references in a minute to back up my post.

Pasteurized liquid eggwhites (like eggbeaters and what not) have been treated so that the "avidin" is safely removed along with threats such as salmonella. So, if you use the pasteurized stuff, you're good to go! Only raw egg whites straight out of the egg need to be cooked to neutralize the aforementioned issues.
