    Help with diet...

Hey everybody...just wondering if anyone had any ideas of some more things I could throw into my day to day routine that would improve my overall eating habits. I'm 5'9", 180 lbs, 14% bf, 26 yrs old. My goal is cutting body fat while adding muscle mass. Here's an average day:

    Meal 1
    - Bowl of high fiber cereal
    - 1 whole wheat english muffin
    - 5 scrambled eggs

    Meal 2
    - Protein shake
    - 1 cup non fat cottage cheese

    Meal 3
    - 3 grilled chicken cutlets
    - serving of brown rice

    Meal 4
    - Protein shake
    - 1 cup non fat yogurt

    Meal 5
    - Lean beef or chicken
    - Serving of whole wheat pasta
    - Spinach, escarole, or broccali

    Meal 6
    - Protein shake

Being in an office all day limits me to whatever the hell I could fit in my cooler that I bring each day. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Truthfully bro, I even need guidence with that stuff as well. I'm trying to get at least 180 grams of protein per day, moderate carbs, and low fat. I'm going to say 3,000 calories/day?

I'm also starting a cycle of Test C/EQ this coming week. I want to make sure my diet is in check so that I get the most out of my cycle. My training is there, just the diet that I want to make sure is on point.

hey man here is a good site www.calorieking.com

it tracks all your calories and help you figure what you eat every day, and it's almost addictive once you use it. costs $44 to join for a years worth, but it is totally worth it.

i think you are probably eating more than the 180g protein you said was your target if you use the diet you posted, ***endding on the size of the meat portions and how many scoops in the protein shake.

and im not saying that's a bad thing, just pointing out you might overshoot your goal, which personally i think is a little low but i am just begining to learn to eat properly, so i might not be the best source of info...

i am eating 1.5g protein per pound of lean body mass, currently. 1.5g per pound LBM for you would be 232g protein, which is about what your diet looks like it has approx.

I would add some fish oil caps to the no fat meals or protein shakes.
Always have a little fat with each meal.

I've been taking 1200mg tablets three times a day. Seems to be a really good thing to supplement with.

Thanks a lot bro! That will definitely help out a lot. It seems as if the diet is the toughest part of the whole bodybuiding routine to get down. LOL
