    Protein before bed!

I'm not eating past 6.pm. I was wondering if it is okay to do muscle milk or true mass a mixed protein before I go to bed?

Those who want more info. I wake up and do AM carido. I come home have a V8 and some chicken breast or tuna. Basically have 6 small meals thought out the day and stop eating at 6. I drink about a gallon of water.

    haha thanks mates

What are your goals? If you stop eating at 6, what time do you go to bed?

I'm on anavar and trying to get some clen . I do know that none of that's a magic pill. But I'm hoping if i keep on the strict diet and work hard that they'll help.

Well it ***ends if it fits into your daily caloric limit. I assume since you are cutting you are trying to keep under a certain amount of calories per day, so if that fits in under your cal limit than I dont see a problem. But also I would assume you are working on a certain macronutrient ratio as well since you are cutting. So that needs to be taken into consideration when choosing the type of protein you take at night.

Well if you are trying to cut and you want to taking true mass before bed would not be a good idea, simply because of the carbs (75 g??) why not just buy some casein and take that before bed, or even get some no fat cottage cheese, no matter what casein is the best before bed..nuff said.

^^ yah what bino and Chris said

if it fits in your macro limit, drop the powder and have cottage cheese (fat free) with a tablespoon or two of natty peanut butter

wouldn't not eating for so long be catabolic even though he got his macro nutrients in? shouldn't he always keep food in his stomache?

I think 5 to 6 hrs of nothing to eat is bad. A simple protein drink will keep you metobolism going.

I agree....sounds like too much time without any protein when you factor in the the time you sleep....about 12-13hrs. I think thats too much time for muscle to break down or simply not giving your muscles the fuel they need to grow.

On the v8 thing.....ya I love that stuff....but heads up on the sodium Camaro said.....like 60% or something like that per bottle.
