    Fruit Pwo?

    Can somone please tell me the reason there is so much debate on fruit in your pwo shake. some people say that fruits suck for PWO because they restore liver glycogen before muscle. and some people say the right fruits pwo can have more glucose in it than fructose (such as peaches or grapes), thus restoring muscle glycogen with only small part going towards replenishing liver glycogen.
    I have 2 scoop whey, 1 bannana. 1/2 cup oats for my pwo shake
    Is this wrong or should i have peaches, some other fruit, or absolutly non at all?

    i would say that banana is ok because of the fact that i've seen drink mixes with real banana dried chunks. i could however be sadly mistaken. blueberries are awesome to put in shakes because they have mad anti-oxidants in them.

    i do the same as you, 3 scoops of my whey, 1 full banana and oats, works fine

    ole swolecat had some good posts on why fruits were no good pwo, i will try and find em

    yea, but he lives by dextrose. Shit is Garbage IMHO, use Oats

    I would agree that it depends on the type of fruit used. Fruits high is glucose would be fine. Many dried fruits are good such as figs.

    True!

    I think one of the most knowledgeable guys I have spoken to (Pinnacle) said why take dextrose? What I base my eating around is Cavemen, they never had any of this shit back in the day and from what we know they were very Lean/muscular
