Sensitive to Carbs???
Okay So i appear to now be extremely sensitive to carbs after almost 2 years of really tryin to stay away from simple carbs. I first noticed at xmas time when I put a peppermint in my mouth I got a headache 2 minutes later. Now anytime I eat simple carbs in any form I get horrible horrible headaches...does anyone else experience this?
It is actually sort of nice cause it keeps me away from simple carbs...not that i would eat them anyways.

yea it sounds like a symtom of a diabetic.... i would go get it checked out... tell the doctor what you are experiencing and let them figure out what is up....

Do you get thirsty when you eat simple/complex carbs? go to the bathroom often to pee? These are 2 very clear indicators of diabetes. I get headaches if I eat simple carbs and don't take the correct amount of insulin but, its usually when its more then just a peppermint, more like if I eat a piece of cake/ice cream. I rarely eat that crap but, do on occasion (brithdays/graduations/etc...). Go to the Dr as the others have said. He will prob just check your glucose with a glucometer and make you pee in a cup then check for ketones.
