Cutting Diet Question
When getting on a cutting diet (trying to lose BF%) what should my main focus be on
Low Calorie intake?
or,
Low Carb intake?
and when should i eat the majority of the 2? Should i start with calories throughout the day then to carbs mid day then back down to calories end of day?
thank you very much for all your help!!

Thats quite implicit to say either, ultimately is calories consumption that will determine weight loss or gain but carbs have cals in them. Consequently cutting carbs will cut calories. 4cals per gram of carb. So it has to be an appropriate setup of macronutrients to avoid catabolism.

see how many calories you need a day to preserve any and all lean body mass you've accumulated. then take a dietary approach of say 45/30/25 protein/carbs/fats, and make sure all of your carbs are complex like oats or sweet potatoes. and if you took the time to read more you would find much more intense approaches such as all protein and carb diets along with carb depletion and carb cycling that would melt the fat off. but first you need to create a diet that we can critique.

Yeah thats the basic concept of it, you should around a 500cals deficit over the maintenance baseline. To start, as stated you must have a complete diet
