Splitting carb intake on lean gainer

Can I get some opinions as to whether people find it more beneficial to split up a carb intake on a lean gainer?

Currently I have 3 pro fat meals and 4 pro carb. Would it be better to move to carbs 7 times a day?

i never have a pro/fat meal unless im in a hurry at school and just eat chicken and almonds. i always go pro/carb.

try using sweet potatoes as your only carb source and eat lots of em. for me they are the best carb in the world i can cut with em and bulk with em too.

my vote if for 7 days all pro/carb.

Not really a "myth", just not needed. If you still wanted to do it, it wouldn't matter. Its not always one or the other, most of the time, its in between.

It all boils down to not eating too many calories and sticking to your macro %'s.

Granted, but surely eating all your carbs bunched up, then being hungry over pro-fat meals is not the way forward?

Possibly a can of worms here, but whilst we are on this subject, what about combining fats with carbs in the same meal?

I personally try to split my macros up as equally as I can throughout the day including all three in each meal. The only time you need to worry about carb loading or pro/carb, pro/fat combos is if you are contest preping, even then if you read what the "experts" say it is still all about calories in vs calories out.

I would still try to limit the amount of carbs you have before you go to bed. Eating carbs before sleep will cause your body to realease less Growth Hormone and that is something you dont want. Other than that as long as your macros are good your good....

i eat pro/carb/fat every meal except post workout and bedtime and on some low carb days i add oats to my night time shake.

only people who gain fat easily shouldnt do this as they could get fat easier.

carbs are pretty individual. You just have to try it and see. I can say that ectos need the most mseos are in the middle and endos don't need much. Myself I'm an endo and I get fat VERY easy. So I only eat a couple high carb meals. Otherwise I'll gain more fat than muscle. So give it a try, but lower the carbs if you start getting fat.
