    93 percent lean ground beef

So I basically I have just made up my mind that I am goin to start eating clean year around as opposed to crash dieting to make weight for bench press competitions. Instead of just eating grilled chicken everyday i switched it up with this lean beef. I usually do it in the skillet, drain it, and add seasoning to it, do yall think that is an ok substitute for the grilled chicken, it cant have hardly any fat after it is drained, i just cant eat chicken year around!!!! what are your views, I have been eating it pre and post work out with the right amount of good carbs. im not takin the chicken away for good, just not eatin it all the time.

the beef will still contain fat. the fat is in the actualy meat you are eating. you can cook off extra fat (fat you can see) but there will still be fat in the beef. there will be more fat than in chicken, but beef is still good. to me, nothing builds beef better than beef.

yeah...i have seen the 96..i would almost rather eat my bulldogs food than that shit, thats rough. the 93 seems just right, it isnt near as dry as the 96. You think that the beef is ok to mix with carbs post work out? i do not think it contains ENOUGH fat to really slow digestion that much.

immediatly pwo you should consume whey/dex/malto, then the next meal after that the beef would be just fine......

Ground beef does contain fat but you should be good with 93% lean. Ground beef is digested and absorbed very well, it ranks just as high as egg whites and tuna. Thus, it is a very good protein source to add into your diet.
